Shhhh
life
the hollowness
within,
the ball
of emotion
surging
inside of me
telling no one
exept
he who loves
the way i am
fear
of another
seeing inside my mind
leaves me alone
crying
on the inside
shhhhh
they do not know
don't tell them
strength
to those who seek,
find me
to lean on
in their
time of need
leaving
me alone
once again
blame
only myself
for i have built this wall
to keep them out
for i believe
no one will be there
when i fall apart
so why give
anyone
the satisfaction

well, this is very unique. I like the way that you started each stanza with a word and defined that stanza by that word. It really was a very enjoyable peice to read, I like it a lot, although it is very sad.

i really really enjoyed reading this. the layout of it brings emotion and intensity to the piece. i can definitely relate to this poem. i do the same. so it was delightful to have it in words. wonderful work!
