Sometimes you can't feel it
There's only numbness
Nothing feels real
It's like you're trapped in a world
Where the biggest danger
Isn't the other people
It's you
It's not always dark
But it seems that way
Like the night
Is longer than the day
You try to reach out
Try to grasp a hand
But though one's there
Your hand slips through
You bury yourself
In past mistakes
You drown yourself
In your own tears
And you kill yourself
With your own will
The saddest part
Isn't that you had to go through this
It's that you couldn't wait another day
That you couldn't save yourself
That you thought it was too late
