Gently kiss my lips
oh sweet, painful memories
haunting me nightly.

5-7-5 haiku

Just some verses that have been floating through my head, so I wrote this haiku with them. I will probably write a longer poem like this later.

I wrote the longer poem. It's "Sweet, Painful Memories". If you want to know more of what "Memories" is about, read "Sweet, Painful Memories.

    I like the idea of this piece.
    The imagery was good but it could have been stronger
    perhaps something this?

    Bittersweet memories,
    gently kiss my lips;

    haunting me nightly.
