absent definitions
of true happiness
in our world.
here we sacrifice
the past, believing
with pure conviction
that one day
things will be right.
but then again
out of the few billion
views, seems safe to say
that happiness is ultimately
for 'me' and not 'you'.
happiness.
our drive
one's force of life,
the most selfish
thing i can think of
don't know what i want
but it is all i
wish to have.
then i see you
asking the same questions
locking your fingers
with mine,
and i smile a bit.
ah. there it is.

hmm so happiness it a selfish thing?
I do like the line "don't know what i want but it is all i wish to have." it really adds to the poem
