when you are young
something you want to become
sometimes it doesn't go your way
your dreams change some day
i wanted to have a fairytale life
when i was 16 i became a wife
had a baby, my dreams changed
differnet things were now important to me
my child and my family
he left for the army
left when our son was 6 weeks old
our baby he didnt have much time to hold
he missed watching our child grow
being parents was something we didn't know
we had to learn
a living he had to earn
things were all messed
with my family I was blessed
making decisions changed my life
as I became an Army Wife
things were crazy that is true
thats what happens
when life happens to you

However you see your life it may not be the fairytale u wante at 16 but im sure from 'with my family i was blessed' you have a beautiful life.
