Love, an acrostic

Missing image
              Join with me, my lady
              onward we go through life
near and far do our travels roam
              and together we go
              through life with love
              have no fear for I
              am with you
              now and forever…

              When you see it is
              I your gentle lover
              kiss me, if you please
kiss me again for it is
              I who loves you
              now and forever more
              seek love with me now…

Ok this poem I do enjoy however I think the first part would work better if you used a different word other then life in one of the lines, other then that this is also a beautifull penned art.

    Example maybe?

    Join with me, my lady
    onward we go through life
near and far do our travels roam
    and together we go
    on this journey
    with love in our heart
    have no fear for I
    am with you
    now and forever…
