In Memory of Ronald William Hawkins

Ron's suffering has come to an end.
He's now at peace where the flowers never fade,
and the angels are free to fly.

I will grieve his loss always,
but a part of him will be with me forever.
He will be the rain that hides my tears of mourning.
He will stand proud by my side when I achieve,
and will hold me when I am filled with pain and sorrow.

Ron knows that I love him so much.
He will give me strength when I have none,
and the courage to love....
When I know that I can lose.

I am grateful that he no longer suffers;
Glad for the time we spent together,
Angry at the fact that he died,
But most of all I'm melancholy---
Because I can't tell him I love him ONE LAST TIME...
