I would recommend 3:10 to Yuma, as it does the trick best.
Full Metal Jacket and Platoon take you to war,
add Apocalypse Now as it has no par.

I haven't seen any of these, but I just rented 3:10 to Yuma last night. It's currently sitting on my desk, and I'm glad to know you recommend it. Hopefully I'll like it!
