expressive and articulate
as words of power
move effortlessly
from lips
like blood splattered
across wall of carnage
now,
final collage of serenity
after …
brutality

Juxtaposed ...
the title challenged the writer AND the reader into addressing a rather negative scenario. You did this with concise perfection, Poet! I simply loved the way how the forcefullness flowed from its bloody rhorshach onto a serene page in the Book of the clairvoyant Reader.
Congratulations on your trophy.

Thanks Myra, it was one of those 'empty the heart on paper' writes, that sometimes grips us into motion.

Behind fronts of justness, decency and learnedness that the ignorant world believes to be laudable, the filthiest of criminal thought can be at the core of the processes spawned to be unleashed onto life outside that territory. It is a configuration that proved to be successful over many centuries of time. Yet with each such travesty the fate of those who conjure them becomes more horrible. The illusion works in all directions in every conceivable way and beyond to establish its devastating mission. The intent of being just, the appreciation of decency and the efforts invested to become a learned person are hardly adequate defense against the treacherous ways of induced deceit. The truth is veiled by a robust fabric that is impenetrable for conditioned minds, inside these minds. Thank you for creating and sharing this intense and truthful poetical expression. A work that has de-conditioning properties, the mark of aware poetry. Take care,
Chris

Quite an interesting prompt and concept... "eloquent sadism" - and some people do have the gift of the gab in this regard! Your poem achieves so much power and impact through brevity and that is something I have come to admire from your work.
Somehow I was thinking of these lines from a poem (can't remember which poem now): "The paper burns, but the words fly away". We can never take those words back, can we? But perhaps it's not always what we say, but how we make people feel.
Thought-provoking piece this is!
