Graduation

The girls from pigtails and messes to makeup and dresses
The boys from endless games of hide and seek, now they're playing Halo 3
We've grown up together
Through the good and bad
I'll never forget all the friends I've had

More like a family our grade is
Made up of only twenty-eight kids
Memories that will never go away
What will I do without y'all everyday?

Highschool will be so different
So scary, so new
But even though we won't be at the same school,
I know we'll make it through

I've learned so many things during my 11 years
Not just things other schools learn, but what really matters
I've learned what friends are and how to be one too
I've learned that boys really don't have cooties
I've learned to laugh at my mistakes
To love everyone and to never give up
There are so many more but my fingers are getting sore

But now I know that family isn't about blood
It's about love
And that's what our grade is made of

Author notes

This is about my small grade that's graduating this year. I LOVE everyone to death and I'm gonna miss y'all so much!
