I wish...
I knew the reality though it's not here
to transform into power
that that stems from fear
I wish I had the words, but
what do words reveal
except hidden messages hiding behind appeal
Into delicate bites
tendered with care
Swallowed whole
Sumptuous and rare
Like little oysters
with pearls to wear
I wish...
for the sweet sense of what will be
captured in fragments
as vast as the sea
A treasure for all to share
To be full though fully bare
and swallow whole
those sumptuous and rare
But most of all
I wish...
To know the reality
though it's not there

Woah. This is deep. Great rhythm and flow. Lovely metaphors. Thanks for entering!
