Navigation vessels from
a phantom planet infiltrate
the galaxies beyond the
seventh heavens.
Ships ladened in quasar gems
with translucent structures
of crystal.
Scanning the universe in search
of exotic beings that can enlighten
by way of cognitive metamorphosis.
To propagate in the fertilization
of a rare and supreme species.
Worlds within worlds collide
on the sphere of gravity.
As these relentless breeders
of philosophical indulgence
burst through barriers of infinity.
Ripping the cords of destiny
which are joined together by
theocratic balance.
Silence engages the realms
of antiquity as the mediums
of justice take counsel.
Flashes of ambivalence reek
havoc in the corridors of eternity.
As the throne of humanity
is shaken from celestial harmony.
Fierce lightning pierce the
barriers of the alien craft.
As the stricken vessel disintegrates
into a million particles of light.
Time suspends as the universe
amends the infrastructure of
distorted intent.
The heavens unite in a symphony
of melodic equilibrium.
As the architech of creation
take solace in his throne of repose.

Bravo!
I really like the way you built up this read until it can no longer contain itself & explodes on the end! Well done!

Good science fiction, poet. Has some hints of Star Trek, but a very original piece. I venture a guess, you'll fair well in the contest.

I love the last few lines bloody wonderful!
(The heavens unite in a symphony
of melodic equilibrium.
As the architect of creation
take solace in his throne of repose.)
Where do you come from and where do you go?
Not of this earth that is obvious!
A Star trekker perhaps?
Or time traveler?
Nicely done!
This certainly took me far away!
