Ode To Danielle
W. Peter Sanci
Sixteen years ago next month, you came into our lives.
You were never tiny, you were larger than life.
It was joy that you brought into our lives.
Joy and smiles and hugs and kisses.
You make you’re daddy so very proud,
When you laugh and when you smile.
When tears are in you’re eyes after a scrape,
Or when you don’ t get your own way.
Always proud of what you did at school that day.
Laughing and playing, often fighting with you’re big
brother.
Know always, that you’re daddy will be very happy that
you came into our lives 15 years ago next month.

Sweet
Aww. I really loved this poem; it shows the spirit of the girl that you are writing about, liking only a father could. It really is a beautiful poem, but I think that you meant '16' instead of 15 on that last line.
Good luck and God Bless -
