Silver lizards
And skies of Lapis,
Rolling hills of Scarlet,
And lavender oceans.
Birds of Turquoise and Magenta.
The flames that bend
To encompass all,
The waters that rise
To swallow you whole.
Chimeras that sour,
Predators
In a land of dreams.
Songs that will never
Be heard,
Gone with the breeze
Like the sands of Ages
Forgotten Moments
And Memories yet to come.
Lost souls
Dancing
Braving the skies,
In a land of ementia.
Where shrieks of Pleasure
And pain
Resound from the burning hills
Mountains of crystal
Where desires are granted
And debts paid
Lives are traded
For bits of silk.
Empires rise
And fall
In the Blink
Of a second.
Time is nothing, and nothing
Is Eternity.
See my sanctuary,
And know it is my undoing.
This is my island.
Author notes
These are just some of the things that I see when I close my eyes, this slighty wierd part of my imagination that defines me.

Beautiful imagery. I believe my favorite line was the bit about the rolling hills of scarlett.

When reading this I was taken to the 18th century of slavery and exotic islands, where traders sold lives for gain.
History of what we all ready know.
But I can take away nothing from you of your skill and poetic foreplay in trying to delve into your imaginative soul.
You are bound to this earth, escape and show me that place that you know lives within your dreams!

Very imaginative, I wouldn't mine going there I suppose.
