Looking up into the velvet sky
Folding down across my sparkling blue eyes
Looking deeper into your face
Asking for god to send us up to outerspace
I want to catch a falling star
Look down upon the earth from where we are

Calling you to capture me

You whisper in my ear as you hold me tight
I almost forgot what this was about
As your hand reaches under my buttoned blouse
Your moving down now upon my waist
You tell me that all you want is a small taste

I forget where we are now in the winter days
The windows open and I feel the cold crisp air
It tears at my lungs and it fuels my ambition
I quickly open my eyes and remember
Why this all doesnt make sense
It's the middle of December not the first of June

You are away in the blue lagoon
Fighting for our rights to live
As here I sit wishing you to be back in my arms
It was all simply just a dream
My hearts trying to play a scheme
But its bringing you back to me

The way that it should really be
Then I lay my head back down again

Sometimes the best poems come from random thinking, and this piece is no exception. You have written a very romantic, sensual, and mildly erotic poem of love and togetherness. If only there were actual lovers like this in the world. I hope you know at least one, I don't know any. You write very good.

This is a good poem! My favorite stanza is the third one, 'Leap in and out of heavens gate...' Very nice rhyming and flow.
