Silently cry in my world at night
Adrift in dreams I hold on tight
Never to find true love it seems
Dashed are my hopes and dreams
You read my life in words of rhyme
Gone with the wind my happy time
Remaining with me are memories
Away love flew upon the breeze

Awwww... such a sad poem! You certainly did justice to the pains of the soul, but shouldn't an Acrostic on Sandygram be sunshine and flowers? I know, the light you bring to others doesn't always reflect the inner you. Well done, as always.

there is sunshine and flowers within Sandygram too. I tend to write what I feel at the time I am writing. Now if I wrote it this morning my dear friend it would be full of sunshine, rainbows, hot coffee, flowers, friendship, smiles,hope and faith and love. You have a blessed day. You do uplift me and bring out the sunshine within.

Such sadness and softness wrapped in your words. It reveals much of the soul it comes from. How true the line "You read my life in words of rhyme". You seem so able to use words to express such intense emotion. I think it wonderful that those silent crys in your world of night drifting in dreams find their way so beautifully on the written page.
