I came to notice an extra seat taken
as we sat talking to each other,
a friend of mine was sitting there
saying bad things about another.
She managed to keep the conversation going
stabbing another friend in the back,
I just nodded in response,
I didn't like her ways of attack.
It made me wonder what she would say
about me when I'm not there,
her words were all so negative
as she leaned forward in her chair.
Deception was sitting across the table from us
with dishonest words we all could tell,
swearing and putting down her other friends
I put my head down and sighed, "Oh well."
She sat spreading the most dishonest words
and she was obviously not a true friend,
her ways of betraying those she cared about
would come back to haunt her in the end.
