she is,
the native americans own this land.
this is there home and the spanish took it from them,
but becuase of the spanish the native americans are
forced off there land,
hell the Trail of Tears is enough to bring even the strongest
person to his knees crying for the lives lost and the families broken,
when you say American, i say Indian,
the truest Americans are the ones that know
that even the freest Country is still bound in chains,
and poverty still rages the streets,
Proud American he says, a fool says I.

just venting, someone very close to me was ridiculed becuase of her beliefes, she is a true American, she knows that even America is still not free, if you are Native American then you know what i mean, if not then you need to learn what it truly means to be an American, no one can take America from us, but we can take it away from ourselves, and upon relizing this is when you will true understand that we are not free.

As long as you're thinking about what a true American is consider this:
America is technically not just a county, it's 3 continents. Central America, North America, and South America. So somebody from Canada, Brazil, or Costa Rica is an American too.

Not offended, just had somebody point that out to me once. (A good friend of mine from Mexico.) This was a good write by the way, maybe a little grammer proofreading (s'cuse me I'm overly picky about that stuff), but the emotion was well expressed and thats all that really matters.
