Blow, blow, thou winter wind
Thou art not so unkind,

    Is this not a Senryu?

Your words would be memorable to many readers.
My problem with its being a haiku is the figurative language through the personification of the unkind (or not so unkind) wind.

Again, the wind is personified as not being as unkind as the failing of man through ingratitude. It is about the storm wind and the cruelty of man to man. The parallels are there so this combination of words is really about the cutting cruelty of man to man. [Or Lear's two wicked daughters towards him while he is in the storm.]
This is not a straightforward haiku, as such. The points are high because the exercise is difficult.

    Hi Poetess
Is not Shakespeare a wonderful source of inspiration. Last month I took my son and his friend to see “Much Ado About Nothing” at the National Theatre and later this year we are going to see “King Lear” at the New Globe Theatre. These plays are as relevant today as the day they were written.

    Best wishes, Peter
