When everything in my life seemed to be so right it went so wrong.
How could my love with stand this water that was putting me out?
How could i save my love for you?
My love was so dangerous that i risked it all.
You took my heart and ripped it out of my chest,
and put it in a box and locked it away.
What did i do to deserve this pain that I'm feeling.
How could i save something that was meant to be.
It's never too late to be what we were meant to be.
So how could i give up on the hope that i cherished
for so long?
I know its not easy loving me after the pain.
My love is like a bowl of fire that refuses to
go away.
Everytime i look at you i see this man
that i have loved for life.
So how can i stop it?
How can i find the ying that matches
my yang?
When i had nothing you were there to comfort me.
As i leave today i take my love and i walk down,
the road of disappointment.
My love is Dangerously In Love.
Author notes
This poem is about how the love of your life can just walk out the door and never come back but you still have hope that he will. I used number two

sometimes, for no apparent reason love just gets up and goes. I hope you find it again for life without love is really not worth living for too long.
-
hey. this is good and pretty easy to relate to. i think i can say i'm pretty close to the place this poem is. just sortof in love with someone thats long forgotten about you, sad feeling.

This was really beautiful, I felt your words and the pain some people feel in this poem. Excellent job!

ying yang
Interesting style here... you never capitolized "i" within the lines except one, showing yourself as small compared to the whole matter at foot. With the last line "My love is Dangerously in Love." It sounded almost like a foreshadowing of misfortune for your "love"... Good work and thank you for entering the contest!!
"How can i find the ying that matches
my yang?" Ha ha... I loved that line.
