Not All It's Cracked Up To Be

Searching his eyes for somthing he'd lost,
His sanity and compassion for the world.
Looking for the faint glimmer of recognition,
But an empty souless experssion was staring back.

Her lips once bright and red,
That all dreamed to steal a kiss
Now cracked and swolen with crying.
Eyes running down her cheeks.

From an outside perspective its hard to understand,
What truely happened to this young couple,
But ask anyone and im sure they'll tell you this common truth
Love isn't all its cracked up to be.

Well I'm sorry to hear that.
Love can have it's pitfalls. But when it's real, it's worth it.

    This was well written.

    Much love,
    Mark

    I'm sorry to hear that.
    I know it hurts,
    But life brings many things.
Good things come, as well as bad.
    Everything will be alright.
    Just know that,
And that you have a saint that cares.

(by the way, this is really well written, in any case)
