Hourglass time measured in daylight,
The earth warms and birds take wing,
Rejoice in sunlight, if strong or slight,
The tender unfolding buds of spring.
Increased intensity, the fruit grows
With time and the world’s heartbeat,
If strong or slight, rejoice in sunlight,
The ripening fruit in summer’s heat.
Waning autumn light signals release
Nature’s labors are a boon,
Rejoice in sunlight, if strong or slight,
Reaping crops under the Harvest Moon.
Leaves are shed within the thinnest rays
Slanting down from the northwest,
If strong or slight, rejoice in sunlight
When at last we come to winter’s rest.

Exceptional take on the prompt...
combines the title chosen with nature's
changing light. I feel the form fits
well to the words giving adding emphasis
to time and sunlight. This verse compares
closely with the image hidden. Blue

Thank you so much! After I wrote this, I tried to look up the artist, but could not find anything. The mystery was fun!
