What They Don't Know

It doesn’t need to be a catastrophe
Of some kinda charismatic comedy
It’s more than easy
To be only a titter or a shake of the head
A smile or frown in the wrong places
Something that shouldn’t have been said
It’s hardly a joke
Certainly doesn’t have to be in front of me
Some silly poke
Or just
Thoughts that break out
Of awkward moments
It just becomes a clout
In my mind
Before you know it
Before I know it
I can’t do it
I can’t keep
The giggle loop from starting
The one that keeps me trapped from
The beginning of the race
It’s so dumb
But with each run
Of who laughs the loudest
Cracks up the most
Breaks face first
Into bulging cheeks
Those small hills
With those growing peaks
That carry
Squinting raisin eyes
And as the hills grow red
The raisins crinkle so tightly
As if being led
To well up and overflow
So I tear
While the stone ghosts shudder below
Inside the open cave
That echoes with happiness
Which we all crave
And pass off to others
But how do we behave
With this contagious disease
That we so love
Cause it puts us at ease
With this different kinda high
That comes for free
Lets you smile and cry
Like some kinda cooke
But it’s just me
This thing I do
And you too
It helps my life flow
I can’t help it but I love it
That’s what they don’t know

Please tell me what you think
