Woman Gathers Flowers

Woman gathers flowers
to put on her mother's grave,
she holds back her tears
tries her best to be brave.

"Mom, I miss you so much
it's been years, since I saw your face,
you left my life so suddenly
and left without a trace."

She lays the flowers down
kisses her mother's name,
"I love you, dear mother
thank you for the life you gave."

    Sad, especially
"Mom, I miss you so much
it's been years, since I saw your face,
you left my life so suddenly
    and left without a trace."

My mom is almost 84 and still spry like a spring chicken but my fears are there for that day when I'll be in your protagonists place. I am not looking forward to that.

You put a tear in my eye...stop that !

This is a beautiful tribute. I hope that one day my children might love me enough to do something like this for me. We all want to be remembered.
