He cries for every waking moment
that she dangles in front of him--
but I have avoided all places
--held captive in my own town--
afraid to be anywhere he may be
She cries for the moments
she looks over all of his lies,
and she can't help but hate
all that she hears.
Wasting a summer,
unable to handle this
mess of distress
Because he doesn't deserve me,
He cries for all of it--
