My angel soars the skies upon her shining steed,
Going forth upon the wind, her eternal soul freed,
Silver hooves gallop like the thunder,
Fierce and mighty they tear the clouds asunder,
Mounted upon heaven's shimmering mare,

Giving of a celestial light she passes by,
Soon to disapear from my sight,
She heads fowards prepared to unveil her might,
She goes forth to conquer the skies on a silver pegasus,
And I know that she only leaves me because she must...

Lovely!
This is splendid! I love it!
Its ending is rather sad but your word-choice is very good and your rhyme is very well done.
