From forest bottoms fallen leaf matted floor
among plush greenery of undergrowth fern
I lay upon felled trees bark less trunk
smoothed by time weathered elements wear.
Gazing up into my glittering daydreams above
into the giant redwood trees swaying canopy
entwined leafy branches woven sunlight shroud
shading the cool light zephyr mist swirls, below.
As winds sway tree top brush tip crowns
painting soft white pillow patch clouds
on crescent blue canvas skies, above.
Sun light beams dance a kaleidescope ballet
spinning misty rays pirouette strobe;
flickering through forest branch guardians,
to sparkle into gazing enchanted eyes
serenities calm coruscate
of my resplendent
sanctuary daydreams.

Can feel the pleasure of pecefullness laying on the ground looking up drifting in crazy thoughts tht just pass in and out of one's mind when you just get lost in thoughts. Great take on the prompt...Very nicely constructed your lines are calming...thank you.

This is dreamy and lush with both sensation and
vocabulary. I especially felt "flickering through forest branch guardians, to sparkle into gazing enchanted eyes"...it gives off an atmosphere of
wonderment! Sun, daydreams, & eyes do tie-in nicely
with the hidden image. As well as the "flighty"
feeling I get upon reading. Blue
