Her Love Lays Dormant

It all happen in the Blink of an eye
The weary crash that turned all blue
And everyone wondered why
It was he not me or you
She sat staring into her lovers eyes
Wondering how they got this far
To the point of heart ache and endless cries
When she lost her only shooting star
Now her love lays dormant each day
There seems to be no hope to gain
The pain will never go away
For it has pierced and left her heart a stain
All is lost in the end
She’s all alone once more
He left her heart with out a mend
He left  her in a broken door

Author notes

THis is a poem about my boyfriend that committed suicide. It was like I was watching him die and there was nothing I could do to stop him because he had it set in his mind that he wanted to die.

This poem reaches into the reader's heart and grabs it and clings to it. Very well done. I'm sorry about C.J. by the way.

Wow that was heartfelt. I can't say that I been there because I haven't. I know that it is hard to lose someone. This is a moving piece. Keep it up!
