He cries, he cries, he cries...
sitting alone, without a sound
for a loss, for a gain
lost in thoughts deep and profound.
The bubble of pain,
has burst,
he's alone in abyss of sorrow
with no thrust.
Though he holds
his bundle of joy,
not even an hour old
his small baby boy.
The one he loved the most
his wife-is no more,
without her his life
wouldn't be life anymore.
But he has to stay
for that little angel so fragile
she sacrificed her life for him
the sacrifice can't go futile.
Oh what irony..
joy and sorrow knock together
he wishes and wishes
this moment shouldn't have come ever.
'I lost my wife
and got this child
Destiny O Destiny
could you not be a little mild?'
He can't be happy,
he can't be sad
he waits for them to pass
these days so bad.
How he wishes he could,
but can't break the ties
and so sitting alone without a sound,
he cries, he cries, he cries...

i've always hated it when movies do that, the mom dying at the birth of their child...so sad! this too, was very sad and i like that you mentioned the horrible irony of it and the innability to be in a gray area inbetween. nice job!

it happens in movies...for sure...but happens in real as well...for that matter the movies are inspired by real life...i wanted to portray the pain but not of a broken heart or unrequited love...!! m glad u liked it..thanks..
