greenhouse party.

There must be something in the clouds
that makes me look out the window
without continuously searching.

I think it’s called carnivorous carbon,
street name, “icebreaker”.
But we don’t take it for the chicks.

Got something
against the way midnight rains
carry our names.
Even though we can’t quite remember
what it was.

The horizon is with revolution like views
that turn into an in holy breath
of trippy colours.

Unfortunately, I am brown
and not a soul wants to see that in a
rainbow.

Branches of the wood, a community
of life time carbon addicts
reaching, dying,
attempting to see themselves once more
in the zenith mirrors
that were broken yesterday.
They still have a whole seven years
of bad luck.

And constantly,
I am reminded of the tree who was among them,
that nobody once hugged,
even in the loudest of involuntary
thunderstorms.

Trippy stuff. Sounds like quite the party. I would cover my couch in carbon paper so that all of the asses would leave tell tale traces.

Wow... Ryan this was really good... I got confused a little... but that's easy and probably means the poem is fantabulous... I loved it even if the meaning to me was a bit unclear! Rock on! xxoo Meg

i thought this was incredible... i saw a spiritual aspect of it... and the i am brown and no one wants to see that in the color of the rainbow... i really liked that line... and for me, it's during the thunderstorms that i DO hug the tree, but i need to remember to do that when the sun shines, too.
