  It's a tad cliche and bland (in terms of poetic devices -- or the lack of them, I should say), but it has potential. I don't intend to be rude by saying this; it's just that you haven't really explored the depths of the topic, have only skimmed the cliched surface of it in this poem, you know?
  
  I like how you say at the beginning that Valentine's Day imitates love, but then later say the opposite. It's also awesome how reverted everything is; at first I was skeptical of the form, but it's fresh and works.
