Heart Song

Missing image

a pressed flower
and moonbeams
string the heart,
a sigh lends wind,
a kite,
a heartsong soars
to the tune
of fireflies and stars.

dawn
the kite runner
waits
at a far horizon,
gathers my song
and I put her

by the pressed flower.

    Beautiful!

Just the thing one needs as a first read on a cloudy Monday. Made me open the blinds and let the sun splash against a burnt orange tree in my yard. Thank YOU! ~sigh~

An excellent you’ve written entry here poet. It is never necessary to write more than need be said. I enjoy brevity that paints a whole picture.

Thanks for this entry, and I wish you well in the challenge.

    Much love & Respect ♥
