Beware the Manipulation Monster
She is…
Laughing, smiling,
Hurting, lying.
Planning, scheming,
Waiting, justifying.
The smile of a coldhearted psychotic.
She is… pretty and toxic.
Culling “targets” out is a honed skill
It makes it easier to go in for the kill.
Using people as weapons
Lessens chances of getting caught.
The “target” caring for people
Is part of the plot.
Feeling people, not hurting others
Helps her reach her goals
She is still smiling
But the smile is cold.
Lying in wait
For usable fiction or fact.
To push the knife further
Into the target’s back.
She feeds off fears.
Destroying targets is a game.
This time she chose me,
but next time,
It could be your name.
She worms her way into the heart.
It is the easiest place to start.
She feels your pain, gets to really know you,
Once she was my friend too.
If you can’t escape her.
You have at least had warning.
Much it is not, but
It is more than I got.
I’d call her a snake,
But snakes are cool.
She is just a heartless manipulator,
manipulating gullible fools.
It may be a shame or sin, but…
Sometime liars win.
