In My Sleep

Catch hold of oblivion, take me there in wilting wings,
a silhouette of darkness hiding the most splendid things.
The constellation figured out in your deepest azure eyes,
a waterfall of exuberance lets go of the clever disguise.
Rapture fill me whole as I fly through the universe,
I'll whisper a tale woven with laughter in each simple verse.
The climax will hold a surprise for all as the stars burst brightly,
promises etched into infinity, never to be taken lightly.
Watch the sun illuminate the sky as the moon bows down in defeat,
as happiness engulfs my dreams so deeply in my sleep.
