Two comets on separate paths,
yet we managed to collide.
Fate wrote a story long ago
in which we would be allied.
Galaxies we have travelled
to gain a conscious mind,
And arms to let me hold you
while our hearts are entwined.
And now we truly understand
the enormity of what God can do.
We see every day as a blessing,
with hopes and dreams anew.
Since the very beginning of time
this journey has been underway.
Soulmates searching for the other
and God guided us all the way.
It's taken a million years to find you
and I'll love you for a million more.
We'll be together in the next life,
still so many worlds to explore.

The inspiration for this poem comes from the love I am blessed to share with my wife Jeannie. We are both spiritual people because of the love God has bestowed upon us, he guided us to one another. True love is a miracle, it is the greatest gift along with life itself and knowing God exists.

It always lightens my soul to see two beings hold so much love for each other...
