A Confuddled Whim

T’was in my youngin days that were

I read the stories of a mysical creature

What it looked like it could not say

Din’t have mirrors in Nadahay

Maybe a heffalump, piffyfoot or eleroo,

Anything is possible, it is true

But what is it that’s left me a muddle

Its very existence is a confuddle

We all know it even our lil'uns

From charts and old fangly poems

This creature sits there as we sing

You don’t remembey? Not a sweet thing?

You know of Alpha Betty, don’t you?

You do! Well, I’ll be jiggledpendoo

Its there in the lines, just take a look

Be careful, it may get a spook

In betwixt the Jaykay bird

That is quite obviously absurd

And the particular pink Cueare Bear

Yes the one who does not care

Use your binoccy glasses if you will

Its swimming in the vocal lake of wordfill

The Elemenohpe he lives on our written junk

Not like a humble Womble they are cuteyhunk.

Author notes

If you don't know the Elemenohpe sing The Alphabet Song fast.

This is different, not so much made up as manipulated. Wonderful work and hugely grinmaking.
