Sephirot

Feel the building power
As the pillars construct
Amassing elemental power
This dybbuk to destruct

The rushing whispers of Aleph
Flowing through the center

Merciful the heat of Shin
Dismissing the cold of winter

And the brute force of Mem
To brave the moral splinters

Adjoin now, the power of ten
Purge this servant from within

As we lift our open palms
Light is what the darkness fears
Chanting the joyous psalms
May they not fall on deaf ears

Bestow the powers we represent
Spare the meek thy holy wrath
As with one soul we shall repent
Endless Light, show us the path

Lead us not astray
May we always walk on holy ground
Praise and glory to us this day
As the shofar heartily sounds

Author notes

Exorcism: Ceremonial expulsion of invading spiritual/demonic entities from a person or dwelling, present in virtually every worldly culture. The Jewish and Catholic Christian faiths each have a formal 'Rite of Exorcism' to be conducted by the respective Rabbi or Priest.

I did some research into exorcisms and found the jewish form to be very fascinating as uses the sephirot and references elemental forces in the way the perform thier exorcism and they are far less severe in their approach compared to modern day christianity. So I composed a piece tailored around the sephirot and the judaism practice. emjoy!
