I watch the shadows pass.
Faces cloaked in lies,
Dressed in shields and masks.
None of them look scrumptious.
None deserve the time.
But for myself, I know that,
I need to make one mine.
A plaything, for just a little while,
Why not one deserving pain?
For then I need not fear,
if they are accidentally slain.
Slipping into the darkness
of the alley to my right.
Black clothes and long sleek hair,
blending me into the night.
Roaming to the alley mouths
to witness some new blood,
I spy a person, somewhat like me;
my mouth begins to flood.
I hunt the fiend in stealth,
but the task is no mean feat.
Melted to the kurb,
he doesn't leave his seat.
I lunge at him, from "nowhere",
knock him clean off his ass.
I see at once his eyes are not obscured
by some ridiculous, plastic mask.
At this point, I slip up,
just a little, admit I must:
Seeing him helpless beneathe me,
I give in to lust.
This dark forsaken soul,
appeals to me so deep,
I understand at last
that this one I will keep.
Lunging at the throat.
Plunging into skin.
Extracting the sweetest pleasure,
from rendering him Sin.
Moaning as I take him,
deep within to me.
I forge a bond so deep,
that he never can come free.
Ravaging another
never felt so sweet.
Now I keep my new friend near,
always at my feeet.
Jason is my lover,
and I am his loving wife.
Together until I kill him,
forever thankful for this life.
Author notes
"painful surrender"
--roars with laughter--
This sounds like some sappy romance shit. I guess it is, which is not what I planned for at all. Still, hope it reads ok. I really wanted it to be gory. Hmm...
Anyway, it's entitled thus as it is contributing to my Cannibalistic Goth Series. Amanda, some person, needs to feed, decides to hunt freerange, and falls for some guy, Jason (then the poem happens). She 'feeds on' and seduces, forming a bond that beckons him to be her slave. Also, CGz are wicked cool ...
For the contest, however, it is intended as a Vampyre, cruising the sleazy streets for a deserving victim, wanting to cause pain, and (the poem happens); falls in love instead, turning a human into her Vampet. heh.
