    Aww. this was sweet and sad.. I dont know what to say really. The image that you make with your words is a sad one.. But still a great write none the less.

    In marriage we are equals and Next to Me! simply said that with sheer love. I could not help to suspect some deliberate twist of humor in the last line, though. It let me think of a poor housewife's battle against dust and dirt LOL ... RIGHT up to the end!

      Thanks so very much for your kind comment on Next to Me! I guess that I have to show it to my wife if everyone likes it this well--so far she hasn't seen it, but I do think she will like this one. However, she doesn't even come close to liking all that I write.
