"Captured By My Eyes"

this is dedicated to my vampire loving ap friend i have posted you a poem i wrote a long time ago about nothing else, but a vampire

"Captured By My Eyes"                          08 December 2003

You stare at me
And wonder why
These fragile tears
Fall from my eyes
One glance at me
You see my pain
As i see nothing
More left to gain
So walk on by
And leave me be
I want nothing more
Than to be free
Step lightly away
And don't look back
Because a smile
Is what I lack
Naked and broken
Stripped of my soul
Here's another heart
To pay the toll
Of seeking treasure
Of pleasures untold
Only finding the lot
Of nightmares so bold
To run after you
Even after night
So you can be caught up
In their deadly blight

What's this?
You stayed?
To hear my words!
Now it's time
For you to take a turn
To live as an immortal
And never die
As you sit all alone
To weave your own lie

    Bravo!!! more more!!!

AAHHHHH, It is like I have tasted and am satisfied. I needed a vampire read fix, so I thank you! I wish I could rhyme like this. I have alot of trouble trying to do so.
it had very good flow, and I loved the ending where it says to live as an immortal.....that gave me goosebumps!
And I also love the fact that a soul is stripped of the mortal flesh! thank you!!!!

thank you sir. you are to kind. lol about the immortal part silly! i need to read your stuff. i like it when people put a new spin on vampires. i am reading the anita blake vampire series and i am very hooked. you should read it some time! but it is kinda chicky, the main character is a short vampire slayer. anyway, enough babbling have a good day!
