Exposed
Naked
You'd think I'd be ashamed
To let everything show
The me that laid hidden
For the whole world to see
but surprisingly held the most beauty
What was really me
Secrets poured out
as tears ran down
my cheeks
Not afraid to speak
no one laughed
We all just did
a little soul-searching
Now we are all
Exposed
naked
Why should we be ashamed?
All is good; all feels so amazing
Something so true
but we had to let it go
Go back home to our friends
who still lay under the covers
within their closets
afraid to be seen by others
and forget who they are
We are the catalyst, the change that starts
within every one of us.
