No more dreams, she pleads,
As darkness takes over her mind.
No more dreams, no more fitful slumbers
She wants the peace that sleep cannot give her.
No more nightmares in the night,
No more screams, no more fright.
She wants the solitude her mind cannot give her.
She's so tired.
Tired of seeing those things she fears the most,
Tired of being trapped within her mind,
A dreamscape hell she cannot escape from.
Exhaustion peppers her waking hours,
But as night falls, and sleep prevails,
She finds no rest within it's horror-filled folds.
She wants a deep rest that the night refuses to relinquish.
She begs to be kept from those midnight fears,
To release her from her frightened tears.
She wants to sleep,
Nor more dreams to fill the darkness,
Like wisping tendrils meant to ensnare,
To suffocate, to scare.
No more dreams, she pleads,
To the unforgiving shadows.
No more nightmares, she pleads,
But her mind has yet to listen.

This is really good. I liked it. I'm tired of being trapped within my mind as well. Good work
