You shunned that man beside you for the very clothing
he wore today
You laughed behind his back as if he had no feelings
You did'nt sit with your friend because your co-workers did'nt
like her
and when she looked at you, you acted like you did not know her
You left this morning and was in such a hurry you never told
your family that you loved them and never called to let them
know
And you lay-ed down your head this evening upon that soft pillow
you never once gave it a thought of those sleeping on the streets
And as you turned just before you fell asleep did
you notice the picture of Christ upon your wall?
No!!!
But thank God he did'nt forget you today.
Please tell me what you think

I’m feeling you on this one. We all get a little complacent sometimes. I’m wondering, when you say “coal workers”, is there any chance you mean “co-workers”? If so, you might want to edit it.
Good work.

BEAUTIFULLY EXPRESSED!!!!
We as people do forget to be considerate of others, I see this very close up every day. We do not stop and think of how others feel or may feel if we do certain things. Everything you say here is so true, where did our values and manners go? Where has our hearts gone to? far, far away it seems. We don't realize just how much others are hurt by our not stopping to understand or care. Absolutely beautiful write!

Perfect! The feeling of power and the statement of faith is overwhelming. This is a poem that makes the reader step back and think and that's what a poem should do. Well done!
