I sit and dream of spending time with you
Alone together where our hearts are free
A magic place known just to you and me
I think of all the things that we would do
In magic where all wishes can come true
Two lovers sit and dream of what is real
The happiness that's given to so few
The inner warmth that only lovers feel
The place we go I never shall reveal
You must find your own enchanted spot
The two of you can capture your own plot
Where there is nothing left you would conceal
All lovers need a place to call there own
Where they can be together and alone...

Thankyou for the entry and best of luck in the contest -
If you have nothing better to do all day than surf AP looking for contests, and knocking out sonnets for them...
(I know, I know... but I am running out of sensible things to say! Before too long it'll be "Awesome write, man! You are truly an amazing poet!")

you write sonnets as effortlessly as you write rhyme...this is wistful, full of longing, yet,
it has an almost dignified beauty to it...I love
this. Lane

Dear King Jeff Poet of Rhyme,
I must say you should not ever really write like this to me, everybody is looking.
Hugs and Kisses...
