He enters on the wings of love
like an angel from above
she but needs to take his hand
he has but to understand
The world no longer harsh or blue
I see a love that will stay true.
My eyes watch them from afar
as though I were a shining star
They know not of my prying eyes
I have shadows as my disguise
I stand as guard where I belong
and wait to hear this lovers song
The glow that shines upon her face
I am not needed in this place
I shall wait no longer here
nor into love will these eyes peer.
A love that's lasting she has found
I will guard another's ground.
