Time stands still
as her worries become
a world away
floating upon distant fog
where reality
becomes fairytales
full of butterflies
and dancing daisies
heavy breath shudders
with each look
into the baby blue
tidal wave of his soul
destiny becomes them
with every knee-buckling touch
the heart tangles
twisting upon every kiss,
every moment
of treasured bliss
a new day dawning
upon strength of souls
and a dream that once was
is now only a heartbeat away.

Ahh. Lynda my dear, your work always inspires me... It is quite hard to try and be anywhere near as good as you.. but that poem tempted my muse.. and so I had to go with it.. I sort of took parts of what you wrote.. made them into another story.. of love.. ahhh... sweet love!
