That was my day of fate
The desert sun was warm
No hot
Especially after our…
Drunken escapades in Mildenhal
The sand attacked my senses
With brutal force
Brothers died
And others cried
But the truth is
We all knew what to expect.
The army was there
Outside the gates
In their, over armed convoys
And monstrous tanks.
The choices they made
Could be their end.
One day in particular
Stands forever in my mind.
A defining moment
In their true “Intelligence”
Ther is always another way around
But they took both ways.
A fork in the road,
One leads left, another to the right
They took the wrong one
And many of them died.
An airman’s brother
And a marines husband
When I go to heaven
I hope I am not judged
For the things I have seen
And Some of the things I have done.
For that would ruin my chances
And that would end the dance.
All I see at night now
Is blood and tears
All I hear is the explosion
Of the mortars
And all I know is fear.
Take me away.
It is a morose melody
That mankind sings.
But if you cry with the chorus
You are in the best of company
((William and Ben Daily.))
((Brian M Moony, May he rest in peace ))
((Justin Callise))
((Thomas Green))
((Cory Hintz))
((Roberto Resto))
((Lance Womak))
((Jonathan Blake Perry, may he rest in peace))

((Junius Taylor))
That is just to name a few.
To the rest of my Fellow Airmen over in Afghanistan, Iraq, Qutar, And The UAE. Godspeed and good luck.

It is his heart
It is a man's heart that is judged. What he felt proud of, and what he didnt. I'm sure I'll be lucky if I ever make it to heaven. If a man who died for his country, doesnt make it into heaven - then Ive got no show!
My thoughts of comfort and safety to you, the men you fought alongside and the men you left behind. Peace to you all

A beautiful tribute to all soldiers, and especially the ones you know so close. The horrors of war are never mild, yet our young brave men and women go through them for a country that only partially supports them. My total respect to them all.
