It’s enchanting, it’s an art

Stating romance to maze the heart
After illusion, runs in veins
Boil your thoughts with agony and pain
Enters your heart, soul and mind
Lingers thy feelings till you turn blind
Lonely and happy, extremely insane
Earthquackes, that’s Love: A Delirium To The Brain...

    Hi G.b.d.,
I suppose love is "...A Delirium To The Brain...." It has certainly felt that way for me in the past. I wonder what happens when love is not on the boil - I no longer have an interest in the delirium associated with that kind of love. I prefer a love based on where and when the ordinary can be regularly experienced and valued in EXTRA-ORDINARY ways. I think the love you write about has great appeal mainly amongst the young. I have seen older people experience this love delirium. I suppose that is why we have expression: "There's no fool like an old fool." The love you write about does have mass appeal and which is epitomised in the classic 'Romeo and Juliet.' I found it an interesting way of writing about love. By the way G.b.d., I love the picture - it is very Dali-like!
    Warm regards,
    Liveddog.

Emotions run wild within your words. But is that not what love is all about? Tears, tenderness, hopes, dreams, pain, happiness, sad, all of this and much more rolled into a crazy thing called love.

and yes it is all a mystery to everyone on earth... Sometimes though you get lucky and find one that balances you out, and makes you complete and you know it from the start.

Wow! I never leave comments like this, So I would have to say, you sparked something in me with these words, so I thank you!! Great job on this one!!

    Beautifully Penned

This is a very heartfelt acrostic poem. You also rhymed the lines with beautiful balance. The read flowed like warm honey when I read it. Excellent writing...you have a dynamic talent so write ON!...novy

Hmmm, very interesting take on love...there's so many emotions here that it's impossible to pin down on just one. Each line seems to present a new emotion, a new way of looking at love. There's not just mystery in every first letter, there's also mystery in every line....I love this.
