Come away, come away
On a whisper, a whim
Dance like the feather
On a blue liquid wind
Sighs that entangle
On these morning dew weeds
And sweet blazing embers
That float on a breeze
We are two, we are two
Cries the crow in kings crown
Melt away, melt away
In the earths cunning sound
Slither we slowly as the roots of the elm
We are two, we are one, the crow king does call
Through the stagnant still clouds
Of this dead fogs enthrall
Burn the air, burn the sun
Burn the dogwood and stench
Of the still sleeping fellows
That lay in the ditch
We are one, we are one
And run out of breath
We are one, we are none
To the crow kings detest
Come away, come away
On a whisper, a whim
And hold tight to the crow king
As he seeps through your skin
Author notes
I revised it a bit
... somehow it seems unfinished...
I think perhaps this is still a work in progress. I'm going to add to it every so often maybe, it just ends and it feels like there should be more....
