Cherilyn, as I Ponder

Cherilyn,

does your name ring through you

when my wander-weary voice

settles in deep tones

upon it? I ponder,

Cherilyn…

I think I am one of the very few people here who calls Cannonsfire, Cheryl.  When we met she gave me a choice of either Cheryl or Chez, and there was no hesitation on my part...Cheryl rang thru me   The explanation of your poem in your comment below wasn't 'needed' but I'm happy to see I was right in my interpretation (and trust me, I'm rarely right )

    love, lane

You are one of the few who could use my full name and get away with it, it never sounds musical to me. I thank you for your sentiments. Love, C

      I'll do my best!

OK, first, when someone says our name, and we have any feelings toward them, the name rings through us when spoken by that person. Now I've been neglecting Ms. Cannonsfire of late, partly due to my wandering focus. Therefore I am asking if there is any current live connection between us, or do we say 'hello' all over again as strangers (which has merits in itself!)
